Nagoya Obi - Chrysanthemum

This is a nagoya style obi. That means that one end has been folded in half and sewn shut to facilitate ease of wear. The opposite end is the full width of a traditional obi.

Kikukarakusa (菊唐草, きくからくさ) is a traditional pattern of chrysanthemum (kiku) and foliage tendrils (karakusa) you can see on many different Japanese creations. Karakusa is a lucky symbol.
